Grips
One of the advantages of being a serious bicycle collector are the tidbits of information that's shared between collectors. I first learned of the company that makes these grips in this manner...then spent weeks trying to contact them. Once I did contact them, I naturally asked for their E-mail address...Then was damn near laughed off the phone.
"E-mail? Hell son, my wife and I don't even have an answering machine" the old coot laughed.
I'm here to tell ya...These grips are so cool. I could not get the old guy to admit squat, but my guess is that he has the original molds for these grips. I'd be suprised if you didn't mistake then for NOS, I did.
Though by no means cheap (and next to no margin for us) , we feel compelled to offer these grips because they do such an incredable job of giving our modern cruisers that 1930's look.

Jeweled Grips - $36.
Rocket Grips - $29.

Baskets
Don't laugh, this is not a joke. I have always made it a habit to buy my self a little treat every year at the annual Interbike trade show. A few years ago I was making the quick rounds of the bowels of the show (anyone that has been at Interbike in the old days knows exactly where I'm talking about) and saw this booth with these baskets and the sweetest woman that was so enthusiastic to be showing at "The big bike show". I purchased her largest display basket on the last day of the show...And man! I'm glad I did. I have used my basket for trips to the beach, the market (it can handle 3 grocery bags easily), picnics, and recently put my sleeping bag & touring gear in it for an "overnighter" down to Pt.Sal.
These baskets are really well built with stout steel brackets that are bendable to accommodate just about any bar & stem combo. I have to advise however that it may be necessary to make a bracket from your fork crown to the basket if you plan on caring heavier loads.

Basket -$46
